Sad America

Obama and his advisers are working on a plan to start shipping hundreds of imprisoned terrorist to the United States main land so they can face criminal trials. Obama did promise to close the Guantanamo Bay prison, but this plan will create a new controversial system of justice.

Under the Obama plan he will release some detainees and others would be prosecuted in the U.S. criminal courts. But the most interesting part of the plan is that the detainees that are considered entangled in highly classified information will go before a new court system. This new court will be designed to handle the sensitive national security cases.

When speaking about his plans for a new puppy, Obama explained that he had promised to get his girls a puppy. Well the challenge is that Malia is allergic so  they need to find a breed that is hypoallergenic. After taking some heat by animal groups for not wanting a pound puppy, Obama did pay lip service to the fact he would rather rescue a dog from the dog pound. But the problem with the pound is the dogs are all mutt’s just like him.

Well having bi-racial family members I find this very offensive to anyone who is bi-racial. With this statement you might want to make the argument that it’s ok to call yourself a mutt as long as you don’t call someone else a mutt. But that isn’t true. By making such statements you are grouping people who are like you into a stereotype that will be seen by everyone else.

As the leader of the free world he can not make such ridiculous off hand comments that will hurt large sections of the American population. Is he ashamed of his Black father or his he ashamed of his White mother? Which is it?

Well I am almost speechless as this seems very uncharacteristic of Mr. Obama. Change is promised for some but not all as realized by the Iranian President Ahmadinejad who offered his personal congratulations of the election victory to Mr Obama.  It caught the Iranian President off guard that Mr Obama did not respond to this heartfelt congratulations; because throughout Obama campaign he advocated that we need unconditional dialogue with Iran. I guess he changed his mind, maybe it was something they covered in his security debriefing.

In all fairness Obama said he would review the letter and respond appropriately. Iranian newspapers on Sunday ran stories of continuing American hostilities against Iran. The papers made sure to point out that Obama first appointment was someone who served in the Israeli Army as a volunteer. 

It seems like Obama understands that Iran does seek nuclear weapons and thankfully he wasn’t fooled with a congratulations letter. But we will have to see how it goes over the next few years.

When asked about his stance on the missile defense shield designed to protect America and our allies. He had no commitment on efforts to support the missile defense program. Keep in mind his position throughout the campaign was that he DOES support deploying a missile defense system when the technology is proved to be workable.

Well the technology does exist and works pretty well. It was just back on the 20th of August the United States and Poland signed an agreement to base U.S. ballistic missile interceptors in Poland. And for years we have been testing ICBM interceptors with very good success. I know he didn’t like answering questions when he was campaigning but now he will need to answer questions and maybe from time to time make a decision that isn’t popular.

After only two days as President elect change is underway. The US stock market loses 10 percent or about 1.2 trillion dollars. In all fairness this isn’t Obama’s fault, nor is it President George Bush’s fault. No the root of the issue started a few years before Bush took office. During Clinton’s administration his top  housing official Mr Cisneros loosened mortgage restrictions so first-time buyers could qualify for loans they could never get before. It simply took 10 years for this mistake to manifest itself into a major problem.

Banks got greedy and started lending money to anyone who wanted it, they went as far as too lend money to illegal immigrants and people who didn’t have a job, any source of income and no real assets. Many others were hurt because they purchased homes they couldn’t afford. This buyers gobbled up ARM and interest only loans that allowed them to squeak by on the monthly payment. These same buyers would never have been able to make the mortgage payments of a traditional loan. All was well until the cost of fuel grew out of control and then the fed raised interest rates. These fellow Americans found themselves with mortgage payments higher than their monthly income and no option but to move out and let the bank take back their home.

For someone with very little experience Obama really has his work cut out. Raising taxes on the backbone of America, the promise of free healthcare and access to more government funded education. Seems more like a distraction away from fixing the economic turmoil that is facing the majority of Americans.

Your view: Obama: Another first for America

I love the comments about "Abortion and gays are no longer wedge issues created by Republican strategists to lure in decent evangelicals who vote not on their political savvy, but on homegrown social values…"

I forgot we shouldn’t vote for people based on their values, morals and religious beliefs because that would be sooo silly.

"…This time, gay marriage initiatives didn’t sway Catholic Cubans in Miami. They voted against gay marriage in Florida, but still voted for Mr. Obama."

Wow one might be offended by this statement; is he saying that all Cubans are Catholic or that Miami is all Cuban or that the voters in Miami were not savvy enough to look into Barack Hussein’s social values. And therefore were duped by his constant waffling?

"Elizabeth Dole couldn’t win North Carolina even after attacking her opponent and calling her an atheist. Americans didn’t fall for "Obama the Muslim." They didn’t fall for "Obama the socialist."

OMG you have got to be kidding me… no wait I forgot… we are talking about the minion pool and it looks like this guy just did the cannon ball off the high dive.

Throughout Kenya wild chants could be heard "We’re going to White House!", "Yes we can" and rumor has it one of Barack Hussein’s cousin’s shouted out "You can do it…".  Sarah Obama pictured here is Barack Hussein’s grandmother, she is overcome with joy at her grandson’s accomplishment.

In his family’s hometown of Kogelo, crowds of young men, ran up and down the roads chanting "He is one of our own, he’s not going to forget us!", while they waved American Flags.

It was impossible not to think that these were the same young men who a little over a year ago had rampaged through Kisumu burning and looting after Kenya’s own elections ended in accusations of misconduct and election rigging.

Words of comfort came from Green Okotha, who incase you didn’t know, is the child of someone that went to school with Obama’s father. Green was quoted as saying "He is from the Karouth clan – kings that came south to Kenya from Sudan. Now he’s going to be king of the world"

I am not sure what Barack Hussein has told his family  but I think he really needs to set expectations that he isn’t going to redistribute the American wealth to Kenya. Or is he?

Good for him bad for 90% of America. Before you start getting upset this has nothing to do with race. And everything to do with what he stand for.

Don’t get me wrong I believe him when he says he will bring "Change".  Over the next 4 years you will see plenty of change. One goal of Barack Hussein is to "spread the wealth" (not his of course) but all of the other rich middle class America. He will also bring universal health care to the poor, but not the wealth middle class America who will get stuck with that bill. He will grow the government while shrinking the military, and bring about "social" change.

He has big goals and ideas many of which are just to complex for the average American to understand so it is important we just trust him and go along with whatever he comes up with. Well since I don’t classify myself as an average American I wanted to seek out the dictionary definition of his new social government.
